T 6 Reflective Essay #1 Due, read Easy Writer (hereafter EW) pp. 12-26 on writing process. Read Murray in Natural Acts p 162-6.

Th 8 Bring Tagmemic prewrite. Read Berry pp. 119- and EW Grammar Sect 7-10

T 13 Draft #2 Due (bring enough hard copies for your group). Read Meadows et al. "The Limits of Growth" pp. 73-6. EW grammar Sect. 11-13.

Th 15 Paper workshop (bring your marked-up version of the papers given to you on Tuesday, ready to answer the author's question). EW Sect 19-28 on Punctuation. Read Wilson pp. 109-118 (optional pp 145-9).

T 20 Essay #2 Due (be sure to always include feedback sheet, rough draft and prewriting).

Th 22 Bring Pentadic prewrite

T 27 Draft #3 Due (bring enough hard copies for your group; if possible, email before Tues as well). Read Stegner pp 85- Paper workshop. Do Nettrail if you haven't before.

Th 29 Meet outside McHenry Library Rm 2353 on time. (Map to library). Read Gore pp. 93-101. Optional: Read Petrunkevitch pp. 62-6.

Th 6 Bring opponent and audience dialogues. Read Williams p. 77- EW 16-18 on style/shifts. Optional: group project proposals due.

T 11 Argument Draft #4 Due (be sure to always bring enough hard copies for your group).

Th 13 Paper workshop (bring your marked-up version of the papers given to you on Tuesday, ready to answer the author's question; emphasis on organization/transitions, so review EW section 2). Review Murray in Natural Acts p 162-6.

T 18 Essay #4 Due (be sure to always include feedback sheet, rough draft and prewriting).

Th 20 Bring paper that you're going to revise for final to workshop (enough copies for your group, with three questions on them) . EW review Sect. 38-9 and read 41-2.

T 25 Workshop (bring marked-up papers). For those doing a group research paper, rough draft due. (presentation?)

Th 27 Presentations

June

T 1 Groups: bring a well-integrated, well-researched paper, at least 7 pages per person. Individual final papers (for those not doing a group paper) : Bring a truly re-vised research paper, 8-10 pp. long, with 5-8 sources (at least three from academic sources). Specify purpose and audience, and include a paragraph that summarizes the feedback and states how you addressed those issues. In-class: peer critiques using term paper feedback form. Presentations

Th 3 Last class: bring portfolio (all papers except handouts, optional journal) with your self-evaluation form. Presentations if time allows. Optional: group project self-assessment.
